Historical Dance Class

In anticipation of our March presentation of Banchieri's Festino, these three classes will introduce late-Renaissance Italian dances of the kind that might have been performed at a Carnevale celebration.

These beginning-level classes are open to all, no need to be a dancer or even a musician! Classes are limited to 12 students. Pre-registration on our website is highly recommended, but "drop-ins" will be welcome if space permits.

Please wear casual clothes that you feel comfortable moving in and, most importantly, a flexible shoe (preferably a dance teaching shoe, ballet slipper, jazz shoe, etc.). "Character" shoes are not recommended.
